Center Point Barbecue in Hendersonville, Tennessee, has been delighting patrons since the mid-1950s. This family-run establishment has built a reputation for authentic Southern barbecue, drawing both locals and visitors alike.

The restaurant’s menu boasts a variety of smoked meats, including their renowned pulled pork, brisket, turkey, chicken, ham, and smoked bologna. A standout favorite is the smoked bologna sandwich, featuring thick-cut, flavorful meat. Complementing these mains are classic Southern sides such as turnip greens, white beans, mac and cheese, and three varieties of coleslaw. The flat cornbread, a regional specialty, adds the perfect touch to any meal.

Center Point Barbecue’s dedication to quality hasn’t gone unnoticed. The walls are adorned with autographed photos of country music stars who have dined there, including Johnny Cash, Taylor Swift, and Sleepy LaBeef.

The restaurant’s acclaim reached national audiences when it was featured on Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.” Host Guy Fieri highlighted dishes like the sugar-glazed honey-smoked ham, which undergoes a meticulous preparation process: a four-day brine, six-hour smoke, and a finishing touch of torched sugar glaze, resulting in a delightful “ham brittle.”

Despite its longstanding history, Center Point Barbecue remains as bustling as ever, a commitment to serving top-notch barbecue in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
