“Local leaders dressed as famous figures from American history”
I spent part of our Fourth of July at the Warren County USA 250 Celebration at Circus Square Park, and it was such a fun way to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. The park was full of families enjoying carnival-style games, contests, patriotic music, and activities for all ages.

One of my favorite parts was seeing local leaders dressed as famous figures from American history. It really brought the event to life and made history feel a little more personal, especially for the kids. There was a patriotic program throughout the day, along with a barbershop quartet that added to the old-fashioned, Americana feel of the celebration.

It was a great community event that gave everyone a chance to celebrate our country’s history together. We enjoyed walking around, taking in all the activities, and spending time with so many people who came out to celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime milestone. If you were looking for a family-friendly way to spend part of your Fourth of July in Bowling Green, this was definitely a great place to be.
